Steel Coated Plunger
Special plunger tip made of steel coating with an exclusive alloy which is produced by Borga Mecanica-an Italian company, reduces the friction between plunger tip and shot sleeve. It prevents the wear on shot sleeve and die casting plunger tip and also minimizes jamming problems.
Due to excessive variability in plunger tip dimensions, it provides between 40,000 to 70,000 shots without any problems and keep die casting variation tolerance in standard rate during the process. Dimension of shot sleeve does not change during the process and reduces plunger jamming and common die casting defects or failures.
